🏃♀️ We’ll start today with another inspiring marathon story that emerged yesterday. Local runner Dr Julie McElroy, who has cerebral palsy, has made history by becoming the first female frame runner to complete the London Marathon. - Morgan Carmichael, Glasgow Times.
🪧 A bid to ban anti-abortion protests directly outside hospitals and health clinics has been backed by a committee of MSPs. 🍲 A Southside restaurant loved by Rangers and Celtic players has announced its shock closure. 👮♂️ A man has been charged after a Glasgow flight heading to Tenerife was allegedly forced to divert at the weekend. Police said a 34-year-old man was charged for ‘being drunk on an aircraft, criminal damage, failing to obey the lawful commands of the pilot while onboard an aircraft and using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards crew while in an aircraft’. - Morgan Carmichael, Glasgow Times.
