🏃♂️ A Glasgow man with cerebral palsy completed the London Marathon on Sunday, raising money for two local charities. Andrew Tomlinson, 40, capped off the six major marathons, having already run Boston, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Tokyo. “I reckon I’m the first person with cerebral palsy to do all six majors,” he said. “I’ve also ran in under four hours which I suspect may be a world record.” - Lucy Jackson, The National.

📌 Govanhill Spring Clean planned for 27 April. Local residents, organisations, charities and businesses are coming together for a Govanhill Spring Clean event. The plan is to meet at the Al-Farooq Education and Community Centre on Dixon Ave in Govanhill on the 27 April at 10:30am. They day will begin with a briefing before teams of folk will head out to pick up litter. Volunteers will meet back at the community centre for refreshments at 12:15.
