📢 A Pro-Palestinian demonstration in Govan resulted in 14 arrests, one person taken to A&E and a police officer injured. - BBC.
↳ Protestors blockaded the Thales defence factory in Govan yesterday morning before moving to Govan Road.
🛏 Glasgow City Council paid homeless hotel operators over £26 million in the 2023/24 financial year, the Glasgow Times has revealed. - Stewart Paterson.
↳ The figures were revealed as part of their End the Homeless Hotel Shame campaign which has shed light on the awful conditions within these hotels. Residents have reported bed bugs, mice, filth, rampant drug use, theft and violence.
