🏭 Friends of The Pipe Factory CIC at The Barras have been granted £1.6M in funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to open the Grade B-listed building as a cultural centre. - Craig Williams, The Herald.
🚆 Speed restrictions are in place for some sections of the Glasgow South Western Railway Line from 9am-3pm in anticipation of heavy rainfall. Some West Coast/East Coast Main Lines sections will have restrictions between 11am-6pm - Ben Waddell, Glasgow Times. You can check your service via ScotRail.
🚏 The Union Street/Argyle Street bus stop is closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm until April 28. Anyone taking First services 6, 7, 7A,18, N18, 21,75,263, 267 or N267 must use the first stop on Argyle Street at Frasers. 🦚 BRU on Dumbarton Road is rebranding as Birdhouse Bar & Kitchen after the unit changed hands. The new Thornwood venue will open on Thursday.

🟥 Labour councillor Audrey Dempsey has been suspended from the party pending the outcome of any investigation following her suggestion of “rising racist attacks on white children and teachers in our schools” and offensive social media posts uncovered by The National. - Hamish Morrison, The National.
