🏘 Homelessness has “rocketed” in Glasgow while new build social housing is at “worryingly low levels”. Homelessness applications in Glasgow have increased 15% while the number of social homes built in Scotland dropped by a quarter. - Stewart Paterson, Glasgow Times.

💣 An office building at Linwood Industrial Estate was evacuated as a precaution following the discovery of a “grenade”. Surrounding roads were locked down and EOD was called to dispose of it. - Kirsty Feerick, Glasgow Times.
🚗 The £500,000 LEZ penalty pot has been split between the LEZ Community Climate Project Support Fund and the Greening the City programme to improve air quality, reduce climate change emissions, plant trees or improve Glasgow’s amenity. - Matthew Fulton, STV.

📌 Sculptor Ahuva Zeloof is exhibiting as part of the ‘Balance & Harmony’ glass exhibition taking place at the Glasgow Trades Hall. The show is a landmark one, hosted jointly by two of the most important societies in the UK for visual artists working in the medium of glass: the Scottish Glass Society and the Contemporary Glass Society. This is a rare chance to see Ahuva Zeloof’s work in person. She’s exhibited alongside icons of contemporary art such as David Hockney, Lucien Freud and Sir Peter Blake, and has been profiled by Forbes, FAD, and Wall Street International, amongst others.
