ON the last weekend in March when a London-based aesthetics company popped up at a Glasgow city centre Holiday Inn. The firm used social media to advertise competitive prices for non-surgical cosmetic procedures and boasted celebrity clients like Katie Price. Convinced by the firm’s alluring online presence, a 49-year-old mum from the city decided to book in for a non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure. The treatment typically costs around £6,000, but this one was only £2,000. On Saturday, March 30, she headed to the hotel for her appointment.
