🏢 A group of West End residents are opposing Glasgow University’s plans to build 260 student beds on the Lilybank Gardens car park site. One resident said: “Just because you own the land doesn’t mean you can build an amusement park. 🏊 Whitehill Pool in the East End was targeted by vandals who tore the gate off, leading local Labour councillor Elaine McDougall to slam Glasgow Life for neglecting the facility: “Glasgow Life has let this building go to RAAC and ruin. It is falling into disrepair.”
